Best career advice ever
This brilliant quote is from Indira Gandhi,
She was India’s first, and to date only, female prime minister.
And held that office from 1966 to 1977 and from 1980 until her assassination in 1984.
Here’s the career advice she recalled:
My grandfather (Motilal Nehru) once told me that
there are two kinds of people…
Those who do the work and
Those who take the credit.
And he told me to always try to be in the first group…
because there was always less competition there”
Oh how very true that is!
And worth remembering – the next time your boss annoys you!
Have a great day.
